On first look, we liked these tyres and have liked previous tyres from Bontrager. Once we fitted them, they seem good quality and well made – they have a silica/carbon tread compound that should give traction when on the road.
Once out on the road, they felt good even though it was slightly damp when we tested them – we still got good grip into the corners. There wasn’t much tyre noise at high speed and they feel smooth on flat tarmac. The one negative is that after only a few hours use there was a lot of cuts on them, this didn’t result in any flats for us but there were more than we would have expected.
