This fairly basic offering from Bontrager offers slick tread for minimum rolling resistance and a Kevlar belt for puncture prevention. They come in between 225g and 450g. We have had these on long term test over the winter miles and as you know with winter riding there is always a lot of debris on the roads. We found that the puncture prevention seems to work as we didn’t take care to avoid the glass and small stones on the roads but still didn’t get a flat.
We fond that these tyres preformed very well, the rolling resistance is low but there is still enough grip to get you around the wet corners. These may not be the most advanced tyres but they are a good offering for the price, so ideal for slogging away doing a few winter miles in the rain.
